Bio
My name is Christian Torres, I am 15 years old. I was born and still live in Cowpens, South Carolina. I have done so many sports like Soccer, Wrestling, Swimming, Volleyball, and Tennis. When I'm not doing any sports I love to play video games based around an apocalyptic world such as Borderlands and Fallout.
Why did you want to become an actor?
Ever since I was little, I've always enjoyed watching all types of movies and shows with my cousins, but mainly horror movies. Watching the Scream (my first horror movie I saw) and Chucky franchises made me stay up at night thinking someone or something was going to hurt me. Then I thought how can a simple movie make me feel like that, well as I learned there is so much more to that "simple movie" that I thought anyone could remake. I wanted to see and experience it first hand.
Who is your biggest inspiration in the TV/Film industry?
My biggest inspiration into the film industry would have to be Jim Carrey due to the way he can make everyone laugh through his improv and comedic jokes. Not only can he make the audience laugh but also feel however he feels in the movie whether joyful, serious, or sad. I wish to make people feel the same way if not better.
What is your favorite Movie/TV show?
For my favorite movie I would say The Truman Show because not only does it star Jim Carrey but it is also a crazy concept which I love, being recorded for your entire life and slowly catching on, trying to get out of a world you lived your whole life in is what makes the movie so great.
Who is your favorite superhero?
My favorite superhero is The Amazing Spiderman with Andrew Garfield because I feel like he goes through a way more tragic origin story than the others and lots more people can relate to his story.
