Austin was born in Fort Worth, TX but grew up in Austin after his family moved there when he was two years old. He is the youngest of three in his close knit family with parents that always encouraged chasing your dreams and doing what you loved as long as you were willing to work hard for it. Growing up on the lake, he loved wakeboarding and fishing. Sports were always a top priority in Austin’s life and in High School he won two State Championships playing football. He then went on to play college football at the University of Tulsa. Austin always had a deep passion for film so after college he decided to turn down job offers in other careers and move to Los Angeles to chase his dreams as an actor, writer and producer. Since arriving in LA, Austin has been cast in multiple independent films, as well as two Comedy Central pilots.

We asked Austin a few questions so that you could get to know him better...

Who are some of your favorite actors?

I've always loved watching Johnny Depp and how he could play such a wide range of bizzare characters. Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington are a few others I've always enjoyed watching because they are so smooth and natural. But if I had to pick one it would probably be Kevin Costner because the guy is just so effortlessly cool in everything that he does.

 

What are some of your favorite Movies/ TV Shows?

This is a rabbit hole of a question thats easy to fall down but if I have to pick a few... Movies:  Training Day, Tombstone, Tin Cup, Any Given Sunday, Tommy Boy. TV shows: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Parks and Rec, The Office.

 

What Superhero would I want to be?

I'd go with Spider-Man. Swinging around New York all day doing flips seems like it would be pretty awesome. Also because I think it would be cool to be able to slow things down and react to them in slow motion.
