Born in Portland, Oregon as the runt to a litter of all boys. Trystyn Roberts has grown into big dreams in the form of acting and storytelling in all forms. With a wanderlust that can’t be sated, Trystyn has teeth to cut and is willing to go any distance to do so.
We asked Trystyn a few questions so that you could get to know him better...
Why did you want to be an actor?
Being an actor requires a deep knowledge of the human experience. Reaching depths and heights of emotion that few people experience for themselves. I want to be a conduit of the story to relate to the audience just how beautiful and tragic life can be.
Who is your biggest inspiration in the industry?
Tom Hanks; no doubt. With roots in Shakespeare and the stage, I can’t help but wander in the footsteps of who I perceive to be a manatee actor. Fun Fact: I wrote a 15 page essay about him in college and the words are burned into my retinas.
What’s your favorite TV show?
Rick and Morty; I’m a fan of the concept of Cosmic Nihilism and I believe they hit the nail on the head with it in a comical/cynical fashion.
Who’s your favorite superhero?
Spider-Man; he gets the stuffing kicked out of him in every fight, but he maintains a positive attitude the whole time. Perception of a gift as a responsibility to help others is the noblest thing I could think of.
